In response to increasing physician concern about leases, light bulbs and losing staff ... MCI Medical Clinics Inc. launched a novel “Rescuing Retiring Doctor” program to help Family Doctors in Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver.
“The program is designed to take the frustration away from primarily Family Doctors and allow them to focus on staying in the game without the headaches”, says Jim Roy, President and CEO of MCI Medical Clinics.
The fact is the Family Doctors who have earned their stripes over the past 25 or 35 years deserve a great deal of respect for continuing to practice ... especially when the option of retirement is staring them in the face. MCI is providing a seamless transition for Family Doctors from solo practice to small group with lots of personal time practice.
“The expert MCI team does everything from facilitating the moving and storing of charts, to contacting patients, rerouting telephone lines and rehiring existing great staff”, says Roy. “This allows the physician to spend 110% of his or her time on patient care and lifestyle improvement ... that’s what the Rescuing Retiring Doctor program is all about.”
MCI has been in operation for over 20 years in the greater Toronto area and for almost three decades in Calgary. The core values of simply being Compassionate, Comprehensive and Timely have allowed the company to focus only on its primary customer ... the Family Doctor by taking excellent care of his/her patients, lease, light bulbs and long term staff.
